We talk a lot on social about being real, about being authentic, about being YOU. To do that, the best place to start is by telling your story:

  • Who are you?
  • What’s your background?
  • Why are you in this business?
  • What problems does your business solve?
  • Who’s in your life?
  • How did you start?
  • What are your future plans.

You just can’t tell me that you don’t know how to tell this story – it’s YOURS.

Here’s mine.

Sharing your story with your community gives people and inside look to YOU. It helps people better understand you. It gives you credibility. It makes people want to be in your orbit and it makes them want to root for you.

I’ve said it time and time again: you’ve got to be authentically YOU if you want to be trusted. Social media needs to be real and let people know just a little bit more about you and your business than they would otherwise get the opportunity to know.

So sit down and make a list. What are all the stories you can tell about you and your business? Once you know the stories, decide how to implement them. Do you want to write them in a blogpost you repurpose into a LinkedIn article? Do you want to do a video you repurpose on multiple platforms? What about a series of photos and graphics? Figure out what makes you the most comfortable and go for it. We want to get to know you.

Want a second set of eyes before you share it? Let us know, we’re here to help!
