This is going to be a quick one this week because honestly, I really enjoyed that three-day weekend (and celebrating my 24th wedding anniversary) but I’m a full day behind and clients come first.

That being said, this week’s Big Marketing Minute is a real-life cool experience I wanted to share.

We work hard to craft messaging that exemplifies our clients’ voices. We want potential customers to know our clients are authentic and approachable. Before a customer walks through a door or picks up a phone, they should already know a good deal about the company they are calling – and it’s our job to make sure that happens.

Last week we had the most amazing experience. One of our clients shared a screenshot from a lead generation form on their website. The verbiage the potential customer put into the form was pretty much PRECISELY the verbiage we use. If the client didn’t know better she might have thought we wrote it ourselves (we didn’t).

It let us know that the way we portray the client online is true and valuable. That the audience interested in this business is truly looking for what they are selling.

It was such a proud moment.

Is your company getting this right? Is your marketing and your online voice working together to bring the RIGHT people in – those who start out as leads but turn into paying customers? If not, we should talk.

Like I said, this one’s short. Next week I promise to ramble more. KIDDING.
